Florida Voters! My son Sam was shot two times during a robbery at work as a clerk for a CVS pharmacy in Tampa. He had just left his full time job to work his part time job for extra money. Although Sam had a wonderful private insurance plan, this catastrophic injury could only be covered by Florida workers comp insurance. Sam is now a paraplegic man in constant pain with an insurance plan, (workers comp) that only looks for ways to rid themselves of this parasite they call Sam McGinnis. Under the table money to "politicians you voted for" changed these laws. The politicians made changes to workers comp to "handle" the abusers of the system. They made it hard to see a doctor and only a handful available to be used. They made it so that users of this insurance can only change their doctor one time per accident. In Sams case, one change of doctor for his lifetime! Catastrophically injured workers need better coverage and I ask the Florida politicians to change workers comp to have a "TWO TIER SYSTEM" in workers comp cases.
